The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2024 exam city allotment details, sparking concerns among candidates who have been assigned cities different from their preferences. The board has communicated the allotments via SMS to the registered phone numbers of candidates, as the details are not available on the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in).
Candidates who have not yet checked their exam city allotment information should look in the SMS inbox of the phone number they registered with the board.
The NBEMS has provided only the names of the cities where the candidates’ exam centres will be located. The detailed addresses of the examination centres will be specified on the admit cards. NEET PG 2024 admit cards are scheduled to be released on August 8. As per the schedule, NEET PG 2024 will take place on August 11 at test centres across the country. For the revised exam, NBEMS has provided a list of 185 cities where the test will be conducted and requested candidates to select four preferred exam cities.
NEET PG 2024 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024-25 which will include the following: 1. All India 50 percent quota seats for all States/Union territories of India. 2. State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India. 3. All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
4. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions. 5. Post MBBS DNB Courses, Direct 6 years DrNB Courses and Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses EXAM PATTERN The examination will be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) featuring multiple-choice questions. It consists of 200 questions, each with four response options, and is conducted in English only. Candidates must choose the most accurate or appropriate response from the provided options.
