NEET 2024 Result and Counselling Schedule
After the NEET 2024 result declaration on June 4, 2024, concerns arose regarding score irregularities and the high number of toppers. However, during a Supreme Court hearing on the NEET 2024 result controversy, it was confirmed that the NEET 2024 counselling would proceed as per the MCC schedule to avoid any delay in the medical admission process.
The NEET 2024 exam was re-conducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates awarded grace marks. The results for this re-exam were declared on July 1, 2024. Candidates who did not take the re-exam will have their original scores considered, while those who did will have their re-NEET 2024 scores considered final. The NEET 2024 counselling will be conducted collectively for all qualifying candidates.
